Milk Replacer For Puppies

Thomas Labs Rescue Milk is a nutritionally balanced puppy milk replacer formulated to meet the needs of newborn puppies from birth to 5 weeks of age. The milk replacer provides highly digestible proteins, fats, and carbohydrates at levels found in the mother's milk. Fortified with a balance of vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients, Rescue Milk supports the overall health of newborn, orphaned and rejected puppies.

Rescue Milk is also a great nutritional supplement for nursing moms, convalescing, underweight or elderly dogs, or as a top dressing for finicky eaters. Easily digested and made with the latest advances in formulation and technology.

Feeding Directions:
  • Milk Replacer for Newborns: Mix with warm water (around 100º F) at a rate of 1 tablespoon of powder to 2 tablespoons of water. Unused portion should be refrigerated for no more than 24 hours. Discard any unused formula after 24 hours.
  • Feeding: This product is intended for supplemental or intermittent feeding only. When possible, the puppy should nurse from the mother a minimum of 2 days after birth. Small-breed puppies should be fed every 3-4 hours. Large-breed puppies should be fed every 6-8 hours. Warm formula to the puppy's body temperature before feeding (around 100º F). Feed at a rate of 2 tablespoons (1 oz) of liquid formula per 4 oz of body weight per day. The daily feeding amount should be divided evenly among the feedings.
  • Pregnant and Lactating Mothers: Mix powder into daily food ration at the rate of 2 teaspoons per 5 Lb body weight until 2 weeks after whelping (giving birth).
  • For Show and Working Dogs: Rescue Milk features special-blended oils for coat conditioning. Top dress by sprinkling on the food at a rate of 1 tablespoon per 15 Lb of body weight up to twice per day.
  • Rewarding Milk Treat: Simply mix with water and feed in a bowl, or pour onto dry pet food to make a nutritious gravy. Mix at a rate of 1 tablespoon of powder to 2 tablespoons of water = 1-1/2 oz (1 to 2 ratio). Feed at a rate of 1-1/2 oz of mixed liquid per 15 Lb of body weight up to twice per day.
  • Flavor Enhancer: Sprinkle Rescue Milk over your pet’s food to enhance the flavor. Great as a reward!
